Verify your contracts and documents in seconds
All our contracts, certificates, and receipts carry a verifiable seal: a unique code, a link, and a digital fingerprint. How it works and why it matters in tokenization.

Key points
- Every PDF issued by CityFraction has a unique code, a direct link, and a SHA-256 digital fingerprint registered at issuance at the bottom.
- At cityfraction.com/verificar you can check in seconds if a document is authentic and if someone modified it.
- The holder can download a copy of the original from the verification, with their session logged in.
- In tokenization, where the property exists in digital records, being able to verify each document is as important as the asset itself.

What changes in your documents
Starting today, all PDFs issued by CityFraction carry an authenticity seal at the bottom of each page: participation contracts, ownership and identity validation certificates, proof of each transaction, receipts, and statements.
The seal has three parts: a unique code (for example CF-K7QF-2M9A), a link that opens the verification with the code already entered, and a digital fingerprint of the file that we record at the moment of issuance.
How to verify a document
There are three ways, all at cityfraction.com/verificar, also from the menu under Verify contract or document:
- Tap the link at the bottom of the PDF: the page opens with the code entered and verifies automatically.
- Enter the CF-XXXX-XXXX code that appears at the bottom of any page.
- Upload the PDF: we compare its fingerprint with the registered one and tell you if the file is identical to the original or if it was modified.
What is the SHA-256 fingerprint and why it can’t be forged
SHA-256 is a cryptographic function that converts any file into a unique 64-character string. If a single letter, number, or pixel in the document changes, the resulting fingerprint is completely different.
That’s why if someone edits an amount, a date, or a name in a contract and shares it, the verification detects it: the code exists, but the file’s fingerprint no longer matches the original.
| Result | What it means |
| Authentic document · unmodified file | The PDF is exactly the one we issued |
| Authentic document (without uploading the PDF) | The code exists; upload the file to verify it is intact |
| This PDF was modified | The code exists, but someone altered the file |
| Document not found | Neither the code nor the fingerprint correspond to one of our documents |
For privacy, the holder’s name is partially hidden.
A copy of the original, always available
If you are the holder of a personal document (a contract, certificate, or proof), you can download an identical copy of the original from the verification, with your session logged in. So, even if you lose the file, you always have the authentic document at hand. No one else can download it: personal documents contain data that belongs only to you.
Why this matters in tokenization
Real estate tokenization consists of representing participation in a real asset in digital records, divided into fractions that can be bought, sold, and transferred. When the property exists in digital records, trust no longer depends on paper with a physical seal, but on being able to verify that each record and each document are authentic.
The SHA-256 fingerprint is the same family of cryptographic techniques that distributed ledger networks rely on to ensure data hasn’t changed. Applying it to every contract, certificate, and proof brings that same guarantee to the documents backing your investment.
Why every fractional platform should offer it
- Protects the investor against fake or altered documents circulating under the platform's name.
- Makes it easier for third parties (a bank, an accountant, an authority) to verify your documents without having to call us.
- Provides traceability: each document is recorded with its date and its fingerprint from the moment it is issued.
- Enhances transparency, along with the service status page, the legal model, and the shareholder list of each asset.
Frequently asked questions
What documents can be verified?
All PDFs issued by CityFraction: contracts, ownership and identity validation certificates, receipts, invoices, and statements.
Do I need an account to verify?
No. Anyone can verify a code or a PDF. Only to download the original copy of a personal document do you need to log in as its owner.
What should I do if the verification says the PDF was modified?
Do not trust that file. Ask the owner for the original or contact us via WhatsApp Support with the code to review it.
Are my documents made public?
No. Verification only shows the document type, the date, and the partially hidden owner; the content is not published.
